Islamic Cultural Institute Mission Statement
The Islamic Cultural Institute (ICI) is an independent nonprofit organization that was established in 1978. The objective of the organization is to develop, support and promote an Islamic way of life. The ICI is also aiming at raising and building a stronger Muslim community through the Saturday Iman School. We also strive to provide our youth and children a safe and engaging Islamic environment where we build the foundation of a community within their hearts.

I'm reviewing the facility and the people who run it, not the people who attend, which will play a big role into you liking it.
This place evokes a sense of emotion for me. I went to it years ago, as a very young child, and I come back to it from time to time now. Back then, I don't know what it was like. But I can tell you how it is now .
The facility is impeccably clean, with proper bathrooms, water fountains, playrooms, prayer areas, and classrooms. The administration is showing initiative in revamping the space, and I assure you, they have done a great job.
Overall, the best thing about this place is their Eid celebrations and their weekly potlucks. Very nice place.

I had a UofDM class assignment to visit a mosque. ICI was my 3rd attempt. I had a friendly, beautiful experience here. The Imam(s) even took time after the scheduled prayer to answer any questions I may have had.
